This huge fairytale Elizabethan house, with its impressive spires and 2,000-acre parkland, is renowned in Hollywood as the set for historical blockbusters.

The house featured in the 2006 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, as well as The Da Vinci Code and Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Opt for an outdoor ceremony at the Summerhouse, overlooking the lake, or lead your guests into the light-drenched Orangery to say 'I do'.

Sip champagne in the rose garden, before dinner is served in the Great Hall, which features wood panelling and a Tudor fireplace.

It popped up as Rosings, home of Lady Catherine de Bourgh, played by Dame Judi Dench in the 2006 film Pride and Prejudice. And it also starred in The Da Vinci Code and Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
