Naomi Rowland, 27, married Ben Hession, 29, at Ballinacurra House in County Cork, Ireland, on 24th July 2016. She says:

When we first saw our venue, it just blew us away. From its lush grounds and private jetty, to the sunny yellow exterior and themed interiors, it's a special place.

In the two years between getting engaged and our wedding, I collected three vintage dresses to wear on the day (plus a gown for the day before). I'm a stylist, so one was never going to be enough! I felt they each represented a different part of me.

Much of our decor was homemade. We covered a garden pergola with artificial flowers, to serve as our floral arch, and my dad's shabby, old white stepladders were decorated and used to hold the table plan.

As a surprise, our guests were led through the grounds to the jetty, where we'd hired boats. The sun was setting as we rowed out - it was magical.

My most memorable moment from the day was walking down the aisle. It's hard to describe the feeling: marrying your best friend while everyone you love in the world celebrates with you.

I'll remember the way Ben looked at me, and that feeling of pure happiness, forever.

My top tip: You can save a lot of money by doing a little DIY - just so long as you don't mind getting burnt by the glue gun!
