Fashion blogger @iamchouquette, 29, married Paris Chanelle, 32, at Château de Robernier in Montfort-sur-Argens, France, on 1st August 2016. She says:

Paris grew up in the south of France, so we agreed it would be lovely to marry there. We visited nearly every château from Cannes to Provence, before falling in love with Robernier's magical grounds.

Having literally travelled the globe to find my dream dress, I ended up buying a vast amount of gorgeous fabric from a market in Tel Aviv and then enlisting my good friend Francesca, who happens to be a seamstress, to help sew the gown.

It was everything I had ever dreamed of! I also bought as much white chiffon as I could carry for my veil. I wanted it to act as a train, as my dress wouldn't have one. I had some lace sewn onto its border for a classic finishing touch.

Our flowers were multi-purpose.The aisle's arrangements were beautiful white roses adorned with glass beads and pearls. When the ceremony finished, they were moved to the reception, where they became stunning table centrepieces.

My bridesmaids carried mini bouquets of Provençal lavender, which matched their dresses. I chose lavender to further celebrate our favourite French region.

My top tip: Your honeymoon is something special for you to look forward to after the madness of the wedding is over, so make sure it's the trip of a lifetime. Ours, by Kensington & Pearl, was the perfect mix of romance and adventure in Sri Lanka, northern India and the Maldives.
