Lucy Twiston-Davies, 30, married  Michael Fenna, 31, at Boconnoc House, Cornwall, on 23rd July 2016. She says:

We wanted the wedding to take place in one venue so guests wouldn't have to travel much during the weekend. Boconnoc House ticked all the boxes: it's set in pretty Cornish countryside, had a church we could marry in and had space in which to build a tent village for those wanting to glamp.

For the reception, we aimed for a relaxed festival-style celebration. Michael works in the music industry, so he was able to organise a fantastic line-up. We had more than 10 acts, including Angela Ricci, who's performed with Rita Ora and The Heavy.

It took me ages to find my wedding dress - to the point where I was quite confused over the kind of style that I actually wanted. But once I'd discovered Stephanie Allin's beautiful designs, which can be very easily customised, I was sold. Stephanie was also at nearly all my gown fittings, which gave the service a dedicated and personal feel.

Our biggest extravagance? Feeding everyone! Because so many of our guests were staying on site for the whole weekend, we decided to pay for all the catering across the whole three days. It created the very social atmosphere we'd hoped for.

My top tip: Wear comfy shoes. We offered our guests end-of-the-night dancefloor flip flops and they were so grateful. Touches like these don't have to be pricey - each pair was only £1 from
