Nicola Hall, 28, married Lee Tweedale, 29, at St Thomas Becket parish church, Derbyshire, followed by a reception at Upper House Hayfield, Derbyshire on 25 July 2015. She says:
My dress was by Caroline Castigliano. I had a custom-made belt created to match our woodland wedding and had small flowers in pastel colours to match my bridesmaids added on it.
For our flowers, we chose a rustic wild flower design, based on some beautiful wildflowers Lee handpicked for me for our anniversary. Arrangements used masses of wild country flowers including delphinium, rustic twigs and pastel shade flowers.
To emulate a fairy-tale woodland, the reception tables were covered with candles stacked on wooden logs down the centre with twigs and moss to give the effect of a woodland floor, alongside wildflowers and leaves scattered amongst wooden name card holders.
Our woodland cupcakes were designed from images I had found on Pinterest whilst researching ideas. Guests could choose from three different designs in either vanilla, strawberries and cream or chocolate. The 'top tier' tree stump, made to match our woodland theme was cherry bakewell flavor (Lee's favourite) - finished off with a cake topper featuring Lee, me and our cocker spaniel.
Our favours were cards thanking guests for coming and had two small love bird seed designs that we asked guests to plant and grow a plant in memory of our woodland wedding.
My chief bridesmaid was a lifesaver - since she's my twin sister, Rachel knows me so well and was able to help get involved with my florist discussing plans frequently, took me to all bridal fittings, helped me on decisions regarding ice cream and cake flavours.
My top tip: Don't think you can handle everything on your own. If you can involve a close friend or family member or your fiancé in all the decisions - do it.
