HR manager Sarah, 31, and Tom, 32, managing director of an event planning company, tied the knot in a summer country celebration. Sarah says: "Tom is an event and wedding planner, so he organised every detail, from the invites to the confetti. Friar's Well Estate was the perfect venue with lots of space for us to have a big marquee for 300 guests."

"The theme was modern vintage - it had a fresh, summer-romance air to it - and I wanted to reflect this in my dress. I found The One after a long day shopping with my mother and best friend Leigh."

"I adored all the quirky details Tom came up with - like using Scrabble tiles for place names. Tom and I chose a green and white colour scheme and I loved the beautiful flower arrangements. We wanted lots of personal touches. We called the food station Stones, after a restaurant Tom used to run, and had an ice sculpture with our names on it."

"For the entertainment, we had a jazz band at the start of the evening. After dinner, an acoustic band got the party going, and we had a live band for the dancing. The grand finale was a fireworks display. The part that stood out for me was the service in the village church. It was so romantic and moving."
