Emma Coulby, 29, married Kristian West, 37, at Babington House in Somerset on 27 March 2014. She says:
"We combined our wedding with our son Charlie's christening. I grew up in Somerset, and Kristian and I have happy memories of staying at Babington House.
For guests checking in on the day, we left luxury tea and Jammie Dodgers in their rooms. The morning after the wedding, we organised for our favourite salted caramels to be put outside guests' bedrooms.
I wanted a cover-up for the ceremony as it was a traditional church affair. Caroline Castigliano made me a bespoke shrug from the same lace used in my dress.
I wore diamond stud earrings, which Kristian had given to me as a gift after the birth of our son. He also handed me a diamond necklace on the morning of the wedding - a present from our son for his christening - which I wore in the evening.
The path to the church was lined with lanterns, and its porch filled with candles by Jo Malone, tealights, petals and flowers.
For dinner we served sharing platters placed between guests to give them more choice. They included beetroot-cured salmon with asparagus, egg and parmesan, and Cornish crab with avocado and lemon mayonnaise. We then had mini burgers and cones of fish and chips served at midnight to keep people going.
As a surprise, Kristian organised a magician to entertain everyone during dessert - it really helped guests to interact.
We wanted children to feel welcome so we arranged a tea party during the canapés, with party bags and pass the parcel.
My top tip: Think about what you might want to keep afterwards. I hadn't realised you can have your bouquet freeze-dried, and only found out when it was too late!"
