Liz Willmore, 34, married James Rawlinson, 35, at Our Lady of Consolation of West Grinstead, West Sussex, on 11th July 2015. She says:

We wanted to get married in London, but couldn't find a venue to match our relaxed party theme. I also had my heart set on a tipi, even though I was terrified about it raining. Once we found Maplehurst Farm and realised we could have an amazing venue and tipi, I was sold!

I found the process of buying my bridal dress quite stressful. That soon changed once I'd booked an appointment at Vivienne Westwood's bridal boutique in Davies Street, London - the second I tried my gown on, I knew my hunt was over.

One of our biggest concerns was that we had enough food. Guests were treated to canapés on arrival, then a huge barbecue with lamb, breads and lots of salads, followed by another barbecue in the evening! We also had a Mr Whippy van on hand throughout the day.

We put party bags and selfie sticks on the tables, which doubled up as favours. We also created a 'toy' area just outside the tipi, with hula hoops, space hoppers and skipping ropes - it went down a treat with the smaller guests.

The most memorable part of the day? Driving with James in the Cadillac from the church to the venue, with the top down, veil blowing in the wind, as we set off along the country lanes.

My top tip: Create a wedding hashtag! It was so great seeing guests' photos on Instagram after the big day. Ours was #bettyandrolo (Rolo is James's nickname).
