When guests received their seahorse-embossed invitations to the wedding of interior designer Jane, 35, and broker Domenico, also 35, the seaside theme was set from the start. 'Seahorses become partners for life,' says Jane. 'I liked the romance of it all.'
As Ibiza is their favourite holiday destination, the couple flew there for their wedding. 'We fell in love with the pretty whitewashed church of San Carlos for our ceremony and found a lovely Anglican chaplain to perform the service,' says Jane, who wore a beaded Jenny Packham dress.
Afterwards, the couple was whisked to their reception in a vintage 1940s black Mercedes at the nearby boutique hotel Atzaro, which is set among orange groves. Guests were treated to tapas and ice-cool lagers on the terrace before dinner was served in the pavilion. A guitarist and flamenco dancer kept everyone entertained until a DJ for legendary Ibiza nightclub Pacha arrived. Finally, the wedding party hopped onto minibuses and headed to Pacha itself, dancing until 6.30am.
