Jo Glover, 30, married James Cundill, 30, at The Horniman Museum & Gardens in Forest Hill, South-East London, on 29 August 2014. She says:
"We're an artistic couple (I'm a graphic designer and James is a filmmaker) so we both instantly fell in love with the stylish Horniman Museum. We also live next door, which made it the ultimate venue.
The first thing we decided on were the invites. We found the original architectural drawing of Horniman's Victorian iron-and-glass conservatory and incorporated it in our day and evening invites; we then threaded this architectural theme across the wedding. As I was doing all my wedmin, I was also creating the graphics for the Victoria & Albert Museum's Wedding Dresses exhibition. Getting the chance to see some of the most glamorous dresses ever made by designers, such as Christian Lacroix, up close was so inspiring - and daunting. I wanted my own gown to be just as amazing.
Our palette was a mixture of soft whites - we asked all our guests to wear white, so the photographs would look minimalistic and clean against the gorgeous backdrop.
Our third bridesmaid Charlotte didn't turn up on the day. Luckily she had a very good excuse - she went into labour with her beautiful baby, Rafi, hours beforehand.
We won our honeymoon at a Brides readers event. We stayed at The Residence in Zanzibar - my favourite memory is lying on our four-poster bed looking up at all the tropical birds surrounding our villa.
My top tip: Get saving, as you won't want to compromise on anything."
