Dickinson & Doris has won this year's Editor's Award at Brides the Show 2017, beating a room full of inspirational stands to pick up this Autumn's trophy.
London based florist Dickinson & Doris, founded by Matthew Dickinson, was delighted to win the gong.
"I'm absolutely ecstatic to win the Editor's Award. It's my first year at Brides the Show, and to win is amazing,' he told us. 'The reaction we've had from brides over the weekend has been fantastic; seeing them turn the corner to my stand and say 'wow' is exactly what I was hoping for."
"What's brilliant about Brides the Show as a florist is that brides can smell the flowers, as well as see them," Matthew explained. "Scent is key at a wedding and is something that you can't convey fully through the pages of a magazine, so I'm delighted to be here to bring the pages to life."
"The way I planned the stand is the exact same way I would prepare for a wedding. Every single stem is fresh. I wanted to take brides on a journey with my stand, from bouquets, to flower arrangements, to large reception urns and round to a spectacular table setting."
"The small Daschund is a tribute to Doris (my dog and the other half of my company!). Dogs aren't allowed at the show, so this is her way of being part of Brides the Show."
