We often hear about brides-to-be not knowing whether they want a marquee or hotel to host their big day. So how should you choose your venue?
"Deciding on the style of ceremony that you want will help you determine the location for the reception," says wedding planner Anna McGregor.
"Do you want to get married in a church, have a civil ceremony or go for another type of blessing? Consider the format of the day and the mood that you want to create. Formal weddings work better in a manor house or hotel; laid-back and rustic parties work well in a pavilion marquee or renovated barn."
