You'll feel like you're the only people in the world on Crear's remote beach on Scotland's west coast.

It's legal to wed outdoors across the border, so you can exchange vows right here, with gorgeous sweeping views across to the Isles of Jura, Islay and Gigha. After the ceremony head inside until the wee hours - the whole place is exclusively yours after all.

Scottish law means humanist weddings are legally binding (unlike in England and Wales) and can take place almost anywhere, meaning you can say 'I do' on the beach.

As remote as it is beautiful, Crear was set up by ex-Vogue photographer Kate Lithgow, who can also photograph your wedding.

Best of all, Crear is yours for the whole weekend, so just add a ceilidh band and plenty of local whisky to party into the wee hours.
