Wedding caterer By Word of Mouth Managing director Justin Tinne suggests the following:
Starter: Herbed mozzarella on a sundried tomato tart with celeriac remoulade.
Main for meat eaters: Seared fillet of Hereford beef on truffled potatoes with pan-fried cep mushrooms, caramelised baby carrots and a thyme reduction.
Main for veggies: Swap the beef for fennel, aubergine and emmental galette, and serve with the same accompaniments.
Dessert: Tasting plate of apple puddings - apple streusel tart with a cider jus and vanilla ice cream; caramelised apple bread pudding with golden raisins; green apple sorbet with apple crisps and iced Bramley apple soufflé with apple jelly.
