Join Brides Fashion Director Bryony Toogood as she picks her designer highlights from The London Bridal Show starring Cortana, Tarik Ediz and Yaki Ravid...
The Demi-Couture Designer: Cortana (Spain)
Rosa Esteva designed her first wedding dress in 2003 for her own big day, inspiring her to launch a demi-couture bridal collection to satisfy the bride-to-be looking for something unique and different. Her simple yet innovative designs include versatile two piece outfits as well as slinky bias cut dresses, and soft ballet-inspired pieces. Cortana use modern, innovative fabrics sourced from France and Italy, such as the finest linen, silk brocade, lurex, sheer cotton tulle and crumpled silk tulle with each piece handmade in Majorca using traditional couture dressmaking techniques.

The Technical Master: Tarik Ediz (Turkey)
Having graduated from college as an engineer with a love of fashion, Tarik is fascinated with the technicality of making a beautiful dress. Each piece is designed and manufactured under his expert eye in his atelier in Istanbul by a team of craftsmen and tailors. His gowns combine traditional elegance with opulent fabrics and embellishments - floral applique on lace, ruffles and fringing give a fresh fun edge to classic silhouettes.

The Showman: Yaki Ravid (Israel)
Since his first collection in 2010, young Israeli designer Yaki Ravid has been known for combining romance with a level of va va voom. 'Jessica Rabbit' silhouettes are kept subtle by the clever combination of soft silks and lace with exquisite embellishments, such as beading and embroidered overlays. The result? His gowns are elegant, feminine and sexy at the same time.
