Brides can expect simple yet sophisticated designs from designer Rita Vinieris, who has two lines: Rivini and Alyne by Rita Vinieris. The daughter of Greek immigrants, Vinieris studied fashion at the International Academy of Design before stepping into bridal as an in-house designer at a boutique in Toronto. She launched her first collection, under the name Rivini, in 1995 and began selling gowns in the United States in 2014. Vinieris's dresses are all about fluid silhouettes and pared-back designs featuring luxe embellishments.

Rivini by Rita Vinieris Spring 2023

Rita Vinieras explains the theme of her Spring 2023 Rivini collection is “making simple as simple as possible with a new energy to lift spirits, spark joy and invite all to the celebration." She shares, "Through emotional staggered layers, rare romantic touches and cloudy volumes, tried-and-true classics are reinterpreted to still hold a modern interest. Fluid lines and sculptural construction of ethereal textures and luscious silks, organically drape the body creating voluminous and pure silhouettes. The spirit is modern and undiluted."

"This season is about lush layered textures and fluid architecture merging together in perfect harmony," Vinieris said of her Spring 2022 collection "The Search for Sublime." She continued, "From diaphanous gossamers and tulles to dimensional floral laces and sustainable crepe, the details are delicate and airy allowing the fabrics to gentry drape over the curves of the body."

This season was inspired by the '70s and features simple silhouettes accented by beading and floral appliqués. "This season is about walking the line between luxury and nonchalant 70’s confidence. Luxe silhouettes detailed in intricate embroideries, rich fabrications, and sensual layers of textures allow for ease of self-expression. A fusion of the past and future," said designer Rita Vinieris.

Rita Vinieris was inspired by European castles when designing this collection. She blended classic silhouettes with contemporary details, utilizing Baroque-inspired laces and European silks with modern elements. Rita Vinieris's Spring 2020 line was inspired by Thai floating flower markets, apparent in the gorgeous floral embroidery and 3D appliqués that define this collection.
