Sharon Cunningham is back on the bridal scene following a seven-year break.
The famed bridal designer launched her first bridal collection exclusively in Harrods, branching out to set up shop in London's Mayfair not long after. From there she dressed a number of famous faces, including Kate Winslet, Jemima Goldsmith, Emily Blunt, Cheryl Cole, Delta Goodrum and Plum Sykes.
When her children were born she decided to put her business on hold, designing a few exclusive pieces here and there for a select few.
"My children are that bit older now," explains the London-based designer, "and I now have more time to work so it feels right to come back now to what I love and have a passion for."
Operating from the comfort of her own home - the aim being to make brides-to-be feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible - Sharon will only make 24 dresses per year for 24 exclusive brides-to-be.
"I didn't want to do lots of gowns and push them through a factory. I wanted to offer a service where each client can work with me personally to bring their dreams to reality, from the design, beading and fabric selection. I want to ensure each bride-to-be is looked after, each gown is made to perfection."
Sharon's dream bride is inherently stylish, loves all things fashion-related and wants something that will stand the test of time: "My clients love and appreciate quality and design. They want to be looked after and know that a complete professional is looking after them through each step of having their gown designed and made."
