When Mickey Allapach first met Janie Tienphosuwan at a social media event in December of 2017, he had no idea he was speaking to a famed Thai actress. “We hit it off right away,” she recalls. In fact, the couple fell in love so quickly that Mickey proposed to Janie on a beach in Malibu, California just six months later.

For their wedding, Janie and Mickey knew they wanted to say "I do" in Thailand, where the bride grew up, and looked specifically at beach destinations there. “Samui Island is such a gorgeous place, and the views are fantastic,” she says. The pair planned their celebration quickly, setting the date for October 20, 2018—just four months after they got engaged!—and invited 76 guests to join them on Samui Island. "It was just us and our loved ones, so it was important for us to focus on the warmth of our feelings and the natural environment," Janie says. “We kept things simple, really focusing on the love we have for one another, for our family, and for our friends.”

Captured by Alen Karupovic on photo and Fragments Collection on video and planned by The Wedding Bliss Thailand, this waterfront wedding is beyond stunning. Keep reading to see more of the couple's spectacular ceremony site and bride's three dresses, below.

Janie donned three different dresses throughout the day, beginning with a ceremony dress by Nagara. “The designer is really familiar with my style and taste,” says the bride. Her dress paired a scalloped lace overlay with a plunging back and a dramatic matching veil.

The flower girls and ring bearers all wore white, and the girls appeared in crowns of roses. Mickey wore a gray Vvon Sugunnasil checked suit.

For the reception, Janie changed into a second dress, by Milin, that paired a plunging neckline with a corset-style waist. The bride added a celestial-inspired star headpiece as a final touch to her reception look. For dessert, the couple cut into a chocolate wedding cake edged in pink macarons.
