Prince Andrea Casiraghi of Monaco and Tatiana Santo Domingo married in a candlelit ceremony on Saturday night in Gstaad, Switzerland.
The romantic alpine ceremony was of course their second do, having held a civil wedding service in Monaco last August.
Forgoing her bohemian chic style, the bride chose a more formal gown the occasion, commissioning Valentino to create one of his fairytale gowns. And fairytale-worthy it was; the dress was a floor-length gown made of gorgeous ivory silk tulle and macramé lace with an ivory double cashmere cape. Her hair was swept up into a chignon and held it in place with a glittering tiara. The groom looked dapper in a smart grey suit.
Some 300 friends and family attended the royal wedding in the snowy peaks of Gstaad, with every effort made to keep the nuptials as intimate and private as possible.
The couple exchanged vows in a candlelit ceremony in the 11th-century convent of Rougemont on Saturday night. The historic venue was transformed into a winter wonderland with thousands of flowers and decorative urns.
Joining Monaco's royal family - including Princess Caroline, Prince Albert, new mum Charlotte Casiraghi, Princess Alexandra and Pierre Casiraghi - were the bride's family, her mother Vera Rechulski and Tatiana's younger Brother, Julio Mario, whom is said to have given her away.
Valentino Garavani, was present as well, along with Prince Nikolaos and Tatiana of Greece, Uma Thurman and her partner Arpad Busson and fashion heiress Margherita Missoni.
Notably absent from the royal do were Princess Charlene, whom was in Monaco on royal engagements, Princess Stephanie of Monaco who was celebrating her birthday on the eve of the nuptials at home with her children, and Charlotte Casiraghi's fiancé Gad Elmaleh who is midway through his stand-up tour.
After exchanging vows, the newlyweds left the church amidst the falling snow, and headed for their reception at the Palace hotel.
The happy couple have been spotted on Instagram hosting a pre-wedding fondue party for their guests, and baptized their ten-month-old son Sacha ahead of their nuptials, too.
Official pictures of the wedding have yet to be released.
