If you missed the inaugural Brides The Show in October, you missed out!
Under the twinkly star-lit canopy at Battersea Evolution, over 120 exhibitors were on hand to talk to nearly 6,000 excited brides-to-be that attended the show. The crème de la crème of dress designers (think Philipa Lepley, Stephanie Allin and Amanda Wakeley among many others) showcased their latest collections and talked face-to-face with brides about their dream gowns.
Luxury travel experts - including Mr & Mrs Smith and The Turquoise Holiday Company - advised visitors on the coolest and most beautiful honeymoon destinations. International make-up artist Bobbi Brown's pro team transformed girls into big-day-ready beauties - while caterers, chauffeur companies, florists and couture cake-makers informed, inspired and indulged the buzzing brides-to-be.
Wish you'd been there? Well, the great news is that due to the overwhelming success of Brides The Show, we are now hosting another fabulous weekend dedicated to all things bridal. What a wonderful day! Today we've been busy enjoying the many delights of The Show. Particular highlights included the buzzing atmosphere at The Imagination Room.
"It was quite special to be there and see how involved everyone was in the different sessions," comments Laura Burkitt, Brides lifestyle stylist.
Her highlights included Always Andri Wedding Design's paper flower-making session and Lila Lila's hair accessories masterclass: "They just prove that with a little imagination and some know-how you can really achieve anything".
The real wow-factor of the show, of course, are the exhibitors taking part. "For me, Yum Nums really pushed the boat out today," comments Laura. "They made an amazing peacock cake right before our very eyes! Such a brave and interesting way to showcase their amazing skills."

A host of VIP guests joined us at the opening of Brides The Show last night, including mum-to-be and former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens and Joan Collins OBE.
Both stars were privvy, along with our other VIP guests, to an exclusive first look at the gowns in the The Iconic Wedding Dress Exhibition.
The first catwalk shows also took place, captivating the classic brides-to-be during the Portrait of a Lady show and those with a more bohemian style on the Garden Party catwalk. We caught a few snippets on Vine for you to enjoy.
Another notable guest was, of course, singer Matt Goss, who took centre-stage with his romantic new song 'I Do'.
