17 Bachelor Nation Couples That Are Still Together

Call us hopeless romantics, but we believe The Bachelor and its related spin-offs can result in true and lasting love. (Well, sometimes.) The 18-year, 47-season franchise is built around a simple promise: One Bachelor or Bachelorette is given 25 to 30 suitors to choose from, with the season ideally ending with love and a marriage proposal. While drama often steals the spotlight, the franchise has led to many over-the-top television engagements and weddings, and many more happy couples.

While Bachelor Nation is no stranger to break-ups and called-off engagements, the franchise is undergoing a first: Divorce. After announcing their separation in Feb. 2020, Bachelor in Paradise couple Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone filed for divorce in Aug. 2021—just 14 months after tying the knot. And on Oct. 15, one of the original Bachelor Nation success stories—Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum—announced their split after eight years of marriage.

Yet, to prove that true love does exist in the Bachelor world (hello, Trista and Ryan Sutter and Sean and Catherine Lowe!) we rounded up all of the still-standing duos from the franchise right here so you can dive into their love stories and read about the latest in their lives.

Once dubbed the “godmother and godfather” of Bachelor Nation by Chris Harrison, Trista and Ryan were the first couple in The Bachelor franchise to be (and stay) happily married. When Trista finished second in the debut season of The Bachelor, producers knew she’d make the perfect Bachelorette. Ryan was the top choice as he finished season 1 of The Bachelorette with a handwritten poem and a marriage proposal to Trista. The couple wed on December 6, 2003, as part of a three-episode ABC special. They now live together in Colorado and have two children, Blakesley and Maxwell.

Bachelor Nation's favorite success story actually just celebrated their 17-year wedding anniversary! Although Trista recently shared that Ryan, 46, has been "struggling for months," the couple still found time to celebrate their love and each other with sweet social media posts. "Through good times and bad, sickness and health, blue skies and rain. You’ve stood by me through difficult times, supported me through change and sympathized with me through struggle," Ryan wrote on Instagram. In Trista's dedication, she wrote how Ryan is her rock as they search for a diagnosis for him.

Jason Mesnick served quite the term during his on-air time in Bachelor Nation. In his debut on season 4 of The Bachelorette, he made it as far as runner-up, when bachelorette DeAnna Pappas ended their relationship in the season finale. Mesnick's broken heart was mended when he took the lead on season 13 of The Bachelor. Unfortunately, Jason fell in love with both of his final two women and initially proposed to Melissa Rycroft. However, in the subsequent live special, After the Final Rose, Jason revealed his lingering feelings for runner-up Molly Malaney. He ended things with Melissa on stage and asked Molly for a second chance. Jason and Molly were engaged and married within a year. Now the couple live together in Seattle and have a daughter, Riley.

Jesse Csincsak won season 4 of The Bachelorette, but his relationship with its star, Deanna Pappas, ended within the year. Shortly after, Jesse attended a Bachelor contestant reunion cruise where he met Ann Lueders, a first-episode castoff from Jason Mesnick’s season of The Bachelor. Jesse and Ann hit it off and married in the summer of 2010 in Las Vegas. Today they live in Arizona and have three children. And, perhaps to pay it forward, Jesse organizes Bachelor and Bachelorette reunions!

Peyton appeared on Bachelor Pad in 2010, where she met Jesse Beck, another one of Ali's suitors, whom Chris knew well. Though she left the spinoff show solo, Jesse invited Peyton to an event that Chris was attending. Sparks flew between Chris and Peyton and they were engaged a year later. Following their June 2012 wedding, the couple signed on to cohost a HGTV show called Going Yard (Chris is a landscaper), and the rest is Bachelor Nation history. Today, they live together on Cape Cod with their daughter, Lyla.

Holly Durst, a contestant on Matt Grant's 2008 season of The Bachelor, showed up to the second season of Bachelor Pad with former fiancé Michael Stagliano – the two had a difficult relationship. Blake Julian, from Ashley Hebert's Bachelorette season, also appeared on the spinoff. As Holly and Michael sorted through their feelings, she and Blake began seriously flirting. Holly and Michael went on to win the show's grand prize, but their relationship was over thanks to her new romance with Blake. On the season finale, Michael was shocked as Holly and Blake announced their engagement. The pair tied the knot in June 2012. They live together in South Carolina and recently adopted their first child in 2019 after seven years of struggling with infertility.

When Emily Maynard sent home Texas-based insurance salesman Sean Lowe near the end of her Bachelorette season, she confessed that she said goodbye to "the perfect guy." ABC agreed and made him the next Bachelor. His season culminated with a proposal to Catherine, a graphic designer from Seattle. The pair beat the odds and became the only couple from the Bachelor franchise to get engaged during the finale and ultimately wed. Sean and Catherine said "I do" on live TV in January 2014 before a crowd of former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants. Their televised wedding special chronicled their planning and decision to wait to have sex until their wedding night. Today, Sean and Catherine live in Dallas with their two sons, Samuel and Isaiah, and daughter Mia, which they welcomed in December 2019.

Sean Lowe sent Desiree Hartsock home on The Bachelor, but her girl-next-door persona won her a spot as the next Bachelorette. She fell hard for Brooks Forester, who suddenly left the show before the finale. But former baseball player Chris Siegfried helped her pick up the pieces, and before she knew it, they were yachting through the Caribbean. Chris gave a heartfelt proposal during the finale, and the couple got married off-camera in January 2015. Since then, Desiree has launched her own line of bridal gowns, and the couple has had two sons, Asher and Zander.

Getting an onscreen invite to the wedding of these two Bachelor Nation alums was the sweetest Valentine's Day treat we could think of, and we devoured every moment of The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love special like a heart-shaped box of chocolates. After attempting to win the hearts of Chris Soules and Kaitlyn Bristowe, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert met on season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise, fell madly in love, and tied the knot in a televised wedding which aired on February 14, 2015. The reception was basically a big Bachelor reunion with alums like Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth, Trista and Ryan Sutter, Andrew Firestone, Andi Dorfman, and Chris Soules all in attendance. Chris Harrison even officiated the ceremony. Today, Jade and Tanner live in California with their daughter, Emerson, and son, Brooks. Plus, they have a third baby on the way!

After suffering heartbreak on Ben Higgins’s season of The Bachelor, JoJo took the reins on her own season of The Bachelorette in 2016. Jordan was a clear front-runner, snagging the first impression rose among many one-on-one dates, and the season ended with Jordan on one knee. He re-proposed with a custom five-carat diamond ring. The pair is still very much in love (according to social media, anyway), and after taking it nice and slow, the two are gearing up for a California wedding.

Following an unsuccessful run on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor, Rachel headed season 13 on her own. Of her 24 eligible men, Rachel selected Bryan as winner of the show and her heart. As with many previous seasons, Bryan was the recipient of the first impression rose, and that initial attraction carried him through to the end. After the franchise reportedly did not offer the couple a televised wedding, Bryan and Rachel wed in Mexico in the summer of 2019.

An audience favorite from Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor, Raven met Adam (of Rachel’s season of The Bachelorette) in Mexico on season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise. The two got off to a late start but left the season together and have remained that way ever since. Adam proposed to Raven in Dallas, Texas in September 2019 and the two are currently planning their wedding (which they've had to postpone three times!).

In the finale, he ended his relationship with Lauren and proposed to Becca Kufrin. Months later, however, during After the Final Rose, Arie revealed that he couldn't stop thinking about Lauren during his time with Becca, broke things off with her, and reunited with Lauren. During that live show, he proposed to Lauren, promising to make everything up to her. Well, that he did, as the two quickly got pregnant and married and now live together with their daughter, Alessi.

Ashley I. is arguably one of the biggest icons to come from The Bachelor franchise, and wouldn’t we all be heartbroken had she not eventually found love with one of the handsome, eligible men she met there? Finally, in early 2018, Ashley and Jared announced their official couple status after years of an on-again, off-again friendship with benefits. Just months later in June, Jared proposed with a classic Neil Lane diamond while filming Bachelor in Paradise season 5 in Mexico. The pair is clear that this is the real deal and took beautiful engagement photos before getting married in a gorgeous Rhode Island ceremony in August 2019.

Kevin was the "winner" of Bachelorette Canada, and Winter Games, but, sadly, both of those relationships did not work out. Already a fan favorite to viewers in the U.S., his arrival in Paradise was a welcome surprise. He and Astrid hit it off early, but after watching his ex-girlfriend, Ashley I., get engaged on the beach, Kevin broke down, broke things off with Astrid, and with the show. The two both went home from Mexico. Outside of filming, the two reunited and decided to make things work. At the reunion show, Astrid and Kevin revealed they are dating, and that things are going well. In December 2018, Astrid moved to Canada to be with him and Kevin popped the question in 2019! They are currently planning a wedding for 2021.

The couple met as contestants on season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise and immediately hit it off. But suddenly, Dean quit the show claiming he wasn't ready for a relationship—leaving Caelynn alone in Paradise. He later returned to the show asking Caelynn for a second chance and the couple left Paradise to test out their relationship "in the real world." While there's no ring on Caelynn's finger yet, the pair celebrated their one-year anniversary in June 2020.
