When Terry Bradshaw’s daughter Rachel Bradshaw married Chase Lybbert on March 25, 2023, in Denton, Texas, the bride walked down the aisle in style. For her ceremony, the award-winning singer-songwriter wore a long-sleeve silk Zhivago wedding dress, which was inspired by an iconic source. “My Zhivago gown, I just loved because it was very Grace Kelly—classic and clean,” the musician tells People. “I loved the cuff sleeves and the band that went around my waist. It was so flowy. I wanted something simple and sleek and comfortable.” Rachel paired her ensemble with diamond stud earrings and a cathedral-length veil.

After Rachel and Lybbert exchanged vows in front of their 300 guests at Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum, the newlyweds celebrated at Denton Country Club. Besides endless stations of food and a packed dance floor, the reception also included a second look from the bride. For the post-ceremony party, The Bradshaw Bunch star changed into an Olia Zavozina jumpsuit, which featured a corset top, beaded detailing on the sheer sleeves, and sparkly accents along the pants. “It’s so perfect for what I envisioned,” she expresses. “We weren’t doing a traditional wedding, so I wanted to dress appropriately, and a ball gown just wasn’t my thing. The beading on the cape connected to my pants was the perfect touch. It was so different and made me feel like I was wearing a dress and tied in perfectly with the beaded sleeves. It’s badass and so beautiful.”

Although the bride ended up wearing a reception outfit that she loved, she says nailing down an ensemble that fit her vision was a struggle. “I couldn't for the life of me find anything,” she admits. “I looked and looked and searched everywhere and even went online shopping for a few months and still no luck. I finally called [Zavozina] in the middle of the night in tears. Being the amazing friend that she is, she said, 'Look, I got you. Come to Nashville. We can design something perfect.' I flew in two days later, and we designed exactly what I had envisioned. I put it on and just felt like a beautiful princess. It was tricky to find something bridal for a courthouse and then something for a big party I feel like we did it the perfect way.”

Since the artist was previously married to former Tennessee Titans player Rob Bironas in 2014, she says she already had the typical wedding experience. For her nuptials with Lybbert, Rachel wanted to focus more on the celebration. “I didn’t want to deal with anything traditional,” Rachel shares. “This is my second wedding, and I was like, ‘Let’s just have a big party,’ basically a reception. But it just was way more us.” For their second phase of festivities, the newlyweds selected a color scheme of white and pearl shades, and they had the space decorated with balloons and peonies. Instead of a traditional sit-down dinner with assigned seating, the bride and groom concentrated on getting their guests out on the dance floor. They also served an abundance of food, such as a macaroni and cheese bar, a seafood tower, and charcuterie. “Everyone coming together—all these people we’ve known our entire lives—it just makes it really special,” Rachel reflects.

Although the couple has known one another for years, their love story didn’t begin until 2021 when they crossed paths at Dunton Country Club, the same spot they hosted their reception. “Our parents' parents have been members for generations, and we are members," the singer and reality TV star explains. "And on the day that I saw him and I fell in love with him was June 28, 2021. I was sitting at the country club with my girlfriend Erin, drinking wine and at a corner table. So we just fell in love there, met there. His parents were both married there. So I was like, 'You know what? We got to do it at the country club.' It's just so meant to be.”
