29th July was, this year, the most popular date for weddings in the UK. Over 12,600 of you tied the knot on that exact date in fact. On the day, we visited 17 incredible real weddings, to bring you an insight into what makes a British wedding today. One thing's for sure, there are no rules when it comes to creating a unique wedding day in 2017. To see these incredible weddings, pick up the November/December 2017 issue of Brides.

However, we couldn't just stop at 17. Hundreds of you got in touch to share information about your big day on 29th July, and we've collated our favourites into a gallery to inspire brides-to-be who are still planning - from a village wedding where the bride and groom were part of a procession lead by a New Orleans jazz band from their ceremony to the reception, to an untraditional do where bridesmaids wore black and arrangements of lemons were used instead of flowers.
