H// Loco for Cocoa!
S/ Take inspiration from last week's London Chocolate Week, with the latest trends in our favourite sweet treats
Here at <Brides> HQ we can't resist a bit of chocolate, whether it's a Milky Way, a Mars bar or a divine Fortnum & Mason's truffle, we've even been known to have our own 4 o'clock, chocolate o'clock. So imagine the excitement when London Chocolate week began, and what better way to celebrate than sharing a round up of the latest trend and treats with you.
These chocolate trees from Cocoa Cream Chocolates were a big crowd-pleaser at Brides The Show. The showstopper is fab way to incorporate a centrepiece into your day, but the edible factor made us love it even more. Snap off the 'branches' and tuck in to your own slice of Willy Wonka-esque heaven.
We love it when we see an experimental and arty desert, and the winner of this year's Godiva Chocolate Challenge certainly presented us with that in the form of this taste explosion named 'Come Fly With Me.' Looks a little different to our 4 o'clock Kit Kat right? This divine recipe has it all going on from caramelised almonds to rose cream. Take inspiration from the broken chocolate tower for an alternative dessert, and carry it further for an artistic twist on a wedding cake.

Chocolate & Edible flowers
Flowers don't just have to be in your bouquet. Incorporate them in your dessert as well with smashed rose petals and a chocolate and rose pave. This trend goes beyond flowers on top of the desert as the creator, Joe Fallowfield, has weaved in fresh and crystallised rose into it to keep the romance subtle beyond the garnished flowers with his desert 'You Can Eat Flowers.'

After-dinner chocolates can usually look quite old-fashioned, but these eye-catching designs from Godiva are anything but. The modern neon-pastel piping is vibrant and fun, and you could even colour-match them to your wedding theme if you want a truly bespoke start-to-finish day. Plus 10% of sale proceeds are donated to Breast Cancer Now - what's not to love?
