If you're a bride who deep down (or not-so-deep-down) wants to look like a princess, Alfred Angelo's Fall 2017 collection, as seen at New York Bridal Week, needs to be on your hit and fit list. Our go-to designer for universally flattering shapes, v-necks and strapless styles reigned supreme on their Manhattan runway, while skirts came in all styles and sizes. Slinkier dresses felt the most relevant for the modern New York (and worldwide) bride.
Once again, Alfred Angelo updated their now-legendary Disney collection for New York Bridal Week Fall 2017. Our favourite princess of all? Featuring a gorgeous flowing jacket and sheath-thin fabric, this season it has to be Frozen's Elsa.
Surprises came in the shape of slinky dresses featuring sheer tops with intricate embroidery, and a glimmering bridesmaids gown in shade-du-jour rose gold. Feathers - a trend popping up more often than an ostrich's head - also made an appearance in classic black next to more glittering sequins.
The flowing grey bridesmaid dress with 20s-style beaded shoulders caught our eye - as did the deep aubergine and navy tones.
Our standout dress? From the Disney collection (of course!), Mulan's soft lace, symmetrical décolletage details and sheer tulle made an impact fit for any princess.
