New Alon Livné Wedding Dresses, Plus Past Collections

Israeli-born, New York-based designer Alon Livné's eponymous ready-to-wear line has been a go-to for the likes of Lady Gaga and Beyoncé since launching in 2010. He also created three one-of-a-kind looks for Beyoncé's visual album, Black Is King. When the Project Runway Israeli alum expanded into bridal in 2014, Alon Livné White became known for its unique coalescence of contemporary art deco, classic gothic, and dreamy luxe—like its celeb-friendly sister brand.

Though he used tablecloths to create his first designs as a teen, Livné is now known to merge classic couture sewing with modern tech, like laser-cut textiles and 3D-printed patterns. Together, these methods create instantly-classic gowns and accessories that are ahead of the curve without leaning on trends.

Alon Livné White 2021

Post-quarantine, the Alon Livné White team was inspired to dial things back to the basics and rediscover the beauty in simplicity. Their 2021 offering of gorgeous gowns leans into this philosophy. The collection, named Terra, pays tribute to the Roman goddess of earth. Though the looks are by no means earthy, they embody bridal at its core. According to their site, they classify this as "an entity that is the core of life, magic and everything beautiful." With this in mind, the 17-piece collection was designed to be truly timeless. "Like Terra, the Alon Livné bride will always be a timeless beauty," reveals the brand.

Alon Livné White Spring 2020

If Alon Livné's Spring 2020 collection had a soundtrack, it would be "Rêverie", one of Claude Debussy's first solo piano compositions. The range in the 23 designs mirror the 1890 song's crescendo, going from soft and simplistic at the beginning to rich and full of texture as the piece builds. Frilly finishes and textured detailing give the collection a more theatrical feel, as if the gowns aren't just worn and admired—they're experienced.
