After the huge amount of hype surrounding Pippa Middleton and James Matthews' wedding, naturally we were going to want to know all about the honeymoon. And unsurprisingly, they've not held back on their no-expense-spared trip of a lifetime...
Flying first class from London via LA, the newlyweds started off in The Brando – a super luxury resort on the private island of Tetiaroa, in French Polynesia. Spending just over a week relaxing in the tropical paradise on their private beach, they enjoyed eating in the double Michelin-starred French restaurant by chef Guy Martin and took advantage of the many water sports on offer (including paddle boarding), before packing up the multiple cases of designer outfits and hopped on a plane to their next destination.
For the next part of their lavish homeymoon, Pippa and James flew into Rose Bay wharf in Sydney, Australia on a small sea plane. After checking in to the Hyatt Hotel, they were thought to have indulged in the hotel's tasting menu for dinner, which includes wagyu beef and Tasmanian salmon, with a matched wine menu.
The pair didn't wait long before hopping onto a water taxi with friends to explore the city on their second day down under, enjoying the boat trip before another high-end meal, this time at Cottage Point Inn – one of Sydney's most renowned restaurants.
To compete their month-long holidaying, the pair are said to be heading to the Scottish highlands; where they will spend some time with their dogs, in one of the Matthews' family homes on the Glen Affric Estate; the place that has given Pippa Middleton a new title of 'Lady Glen Affric'.
All in all the lavish Middleton-Matthews honeymoon is costing an estimated £120,000, this on top of the lavish £1.2million wedding. The wedding of the year have given us goals we'll likely never match, but we can all still dream...
