Bachelorette parties are for creating memories that last a lifetime. However—and wherever—you choose to spend it should be one for the books, especially if you and your friends are hitting several bachelorette parties this year. While Las Vegas may be top of mind when it comes to destinations, there are many alternative bachelorette destinations just as suitable (if not more!) for your party's needs. Dreaming of a beach escape? Try the Caribbean (Barbados is so popular right now!). A wild "last hurrah?" Explore Mexico. Wine tasting? Consider Argentina.

Of course, your bachelorette party is about bonding with your favorite people as much as it is about celebrating the change in your relationship status, so destinations with multiple merits—a relaxing ambience, scenic views, amazing food, and a bustling nightlife—are key for everyone to have a good time. "A good bachelorette party destination should offer plenty of sunshine and a variety of activities for the group to enjoy," says Jennifer Avey of Celebration Travel.

Accessibility and affordability are major planning considerations, especially for your in-demand friends with multiple bachelorette trips (and expenses) lined up. Coordinate schedules early on (as soon as you propose to your bridesmaids) and look out for deals. Pro tip: Save money by booking group packages in advance.

Meet the Expert

  • Jennifer Avey is the VP of marketing at Celebration Travel, a travel planning company specializing in group excursions.
  • Dr. Terika Haynes is the CEO and founder of Dynamite Travel, a luxury travel and media consultancy.

"Many resorts are offering exclusive bachelorette party packages that come equipped with everything you need including unique activities," Avey continues. "Think tequila or wine tastings, bonfires on the beach as well as personalized decor, and VIP amenities like beach/pool butler service." So if you find crafting a bespoke itinerary stressful, consider these all-inclusive packages. Some even include excursions for every interest. All you have to do is show up and enjoy.

Whether your ideal getaway is fun in the sun or action and adventure, there’s a vacation perfect for you and your friends—and a bachelorette destination that speaks to your exact vibe—below.

Ibiza

Where to stay: According to travel expert Dr. Terika Haynes, Ibiza is particularly hot for bachelorette parties right now. It's not difficult to understand why: The island, located off the southeastern coast of Spain, is known for its nightlife, beach parties, and iconic sunsets. But if you know where to look, you'll find something for everyone on Ibiza, which boasts much more than a flourishing club scene. For the best experience, bachelorette parties should book their stay at One Ibiza Suites, Nobu Hotel, or ME, says Haynes, which are close to all kinds of attractions.

What to do: Explore the Can Marca caves, hang at the beach club Nikki Beach Ibiza by day and head to Cova Santa at night, and spend a day of recovery at Bless Hotel Spa, says Haynes.

What to eat: As for where to eat? Beachhouse, Ibiza Food Studio, and Jondal are her favorite places to enjoy a meal.

Where to stay: More and more bachelorette parties are taking place in Dubai, where groups can embark on desert safaris, host parties on the beach, or explore lively marketplaces. If you're thinking about making the trip—which is an expensive one, so be sure it's right for your group—book your stay at Atlantis the Royal, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, ME Dubai, or Nikki Beach Dubai, says Haynes.

What to do: Head to the Dubai Mall and local Souks for shopping, book a few desert activities (many vendors offer sandboarding, camel rides, belly dancing lessons, and more), or visit Jumeirah Beach, which has some of the best entertainment and nightlife in Dubai.

What to eat: Dubai has a world-renowned global food scene, so be sure to book a few reservations at its most lauded spots, including Hakkasan, a contemporary Chinese restaurant which has a Michelin star, Fi'lia for Italian fine dining, the always reliable Nobu, Eauzone, a chic Asian-fusion eatery with incredible sunset views, and Zheng He's, another Chinese restaurant with Old-World charm.

Where to stay: It's considered the birthplace of rum, so you know that celebrating your bachelorette party in Barbados is going to a good time. It will also be an incredibly memorable and beautiful one: With endless stretches of powder-white beaches (complete with brilliant blue two-tone waters) and a local culture predicated on delicious Bajan food and lively music, this small island country in the eastern Carribean Sea is the ultimate bachelorette destination. There are a few resorts that are buzzy right now and suited for groups, says Haynes, including the O2 Beach Club & Spa, The Sands, The Crane, and Sandals Barbados.

What to do: You can't visit Barbados without venturing into its heart—Harrison's Cave, a network of caves located in the center of the island, can be explored by tram. Fill the rest of your days with a Mount Gay rum tour or by lounging on one of the island's best beaches, from Crane and Dover to Carlisle. Head to the St. Lawrence Gap when the sun sets and get ready to dance the night away.

What to eat: For the ultimate taste of Barbados, try Oistin's Fish Fry (which is the thing to do on Fridays!), Fred's Restaurant and Bar, and Animal Flower Cave.
