A cemetery might not exactly be the first place you might think of when it comes to romance, but for Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder, it turned out to be the perfect spot ... to get engaged?

That's right! The Next Level Basic author, 31, announced on Instagram on Wednesday, July 31 that her boyfriend of more than one year, Beau Clark, popped the question while the pair were touring the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in L.A.

“OMG I feel like Meghan Markle,” she captioned a photo of herself making goofy faces with Clark, 39, that showed off her new sparkling ring.

Schroeder expressed her disbelief in an Instagram Story that gave fans a closer look at her new bling. “I woke up today, just thinking I was gonna go tour mausoleums in a cemetery to see if I wanted to buy one, and this. And f*cking this!” she told her followers while holding up the rock.

The reality star then turned to her fiancé, quipping, “I love you, I feel like a queen. This is a ring, like, straight out of Downton Abbey.”

Her post was flooded by comments from her fellow castmates, including Katie Maloney (“I have cried twice and haven’t even seen you yet!!!!!!!"), Tom Sandoval, La La Kent, Scheana Shay and newlyweds Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.

Bravo’s Andy Cohen also chimed in, writing, “VERY HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH. And thank [God] he had the sense to propose at a cemetery.”

Added Schroeder’s ex-boyfriend, Taylor, 40, “It’s about time.”

The groom-to-be also shared a shot of the pair sharing a passionate smooch, writing, “Sloppy Kisses 4 Life!”

Though Clark’s choice of engagement location may seem slightly … unconventional, it actually makes sense for the duo—the bride-to-be has long expressed her fascination with all things macabre. According to People, the actor even surprised her with a murder-themed date night for their first Valentine’s Day together.

Schroeder also gushed about her desire to have a Halloween-themed wedding on a June 30 episode of her podcast, “Straight Up With Stassi,” which aired from Taylor and Cartwright’s wedding at the Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky.

I want to walk down the aisle [to] a haunted horror version of ‘Here Comes the Bride,’” she said at the time. “And I want to have, like, dead people serving cocktails. Like, dead-looking butlers, like, you know, ‘Hello sir, would you like an Aperol spritz?’ What if I just had people in character walking around?”

“Then we might as well get married on Halloween,” Clark responded, to which she teased, “Not a bad idea!”

If Schroder has her way, she may be hearing the pitter patter of little feet before walking down the aisle, however. “I know I want to be a mom, so I would rather get knocked up before I waited to have a wedding,” she told Us Weekly in June, noting that Clark was “on the same page.”

She continued: “It’s powerful to let women know, if that’s something that you want, you don’t have to wait to get married. You’re in charge of your own body and what you want in your own life.”

Congratulations to the happy pair!
