There are a few designers that make the little hairs on the back of our necks stand up with chills of excitement, our working thoughts float away into a dream world of beautiful dresses and perfect gowns. Bruce Oldfield is one of them.
His latest bridal gown certainly sent us adrift into a little daydream of our own...
Pictured here, his ballgown-inspired wedding dress is made of exquisite buiscuit silk tulle.
"This gown is a soft reflection of the 80s period," explained Bruce. "This style was very popular at the time as it provided relief to the constant burden of shoulder pads. It's perfect for the modern bride who wants a big dress whilst accentuating her waist and showing off her shoulders."
We love the lightweight feel of the dress and it's decadent debutant feel - but most of all we love the peachy tint: "It really adds a warm kind of glow to it. You can just imagine that any bride would truly shine in this gown!" said Website Editor, Sam Rogers.
