Jessica Biel's wedding dress designer, Giambattista Valli said he "could not be more proud" to have been asked to make her gown.
The actress wore two Giambattista Valli gowns when she married Justin Timberlake in Italy last week: a pale pink couture gown for the ceremony and a second strapless gown for the reception.
The strapless silk organza gown worn when she and the singer exchanged vows, featured a light pink floral motif and multitudes of ruffles. For a personal touch, Jessica's floor-length veil - also made by Valli - featured pearls from her grandmother's wedding tiara.
The famous fashion designer said to Vogue.com: "We have been friends for a long time and have followed and supported each other's work through all these years. She has always been a fabulous interpreter of my creations and I was very pleased when she came to me to help her for her nuptials to Justin."
All the women in the bridal party - including four bridesmaids and both mothers of the bride and groom - wore gowns by the Italian designer to the ceremony.

We've been anxiously waiting for more details about Jessica Biel's big day - and now we have some insight into her wedding dress!
The Total Recall star is said to have worn a non-traditional gown for her wedding to Justin Timberlake.
The bride wore a pale pink strapless gown for the wedding ceremony and changed into a less formal frock for the reception.
Stylist Bobbie Thomas took to her blog to share more details about Biel's bridal look. She said the star had chosen a Giambattista Valli gown with a "Princess-like silhouette" for the ceremony while her groom looked very dapper in a Tom Ford suit.
The wedding itself took place in Borgo Egnazia hotel, an elegant resort in southern Italy. They celebrated among their closest friends and family, but the famous couple did try to keep as much of their plans as a surprise as possible. Their guests didn't even know where they were jetting off to when they boarded a private jet from Germany for the wedding.
