As the Dutch welcomed their new King yesterday, we also learned of a new future princess: Kendra Spears.
The American supermodel is set to become royalty after announcing her engagement to the eldest son of billionaire racehorse owner the Aga Khan.
The Seattle-born beauty, 24, will marry Prince Rahim Aga Khan, 41, in a Muslim ceremony sometime next year, although a date has not been announced yet.
The Aga Khan, who is the Spiritual Leader or Imam of the global community of the Shia Ismaili Muslims, said he was "delighted to announce the engagement."
The American supermodel has walked for Chanel, Versace, Dolce and Gabbana, Giorgio Armani and has been likened to Cindy Crawford - thanks to the mole on her upper lip.
She is believed to be converting to Islam ahead of the ceremony and will join a long line of beautiful brides including Rita Hayworth (whom married Prince Rahim's grandfather), model Sarah Croker-Poole (Prince Rahim's British mother) and German pop star Gabriele Renate Homey, The Aga Khan's second wife.
