Inspired by her latest tour in Europe, Pettibone took on the majestic stained glass windows and ornate facades of Notre Dame and Westminster Abbey and translated them into lace and gowns.

The 'Gothic Angel' title sounds like it would be dark and even scary, but was more like opening the gates to Heaven. What inhabits such a blissful place? Bohemian angel brides, of course!
In radiant shades of ivory, gold, silver and sky blue, each dress proved more beautiful than the last.
Right when you think the bell sleeves could not be surpassed in beauty and swoon-worthy romanticism, she sent out a Guipure appliqué gown with sleeves which resemble wings, and organza ribbons that trail behind wafting in the air like clouds.
Statement backs remain a big focus for Pettibone: illusion details, keyhole backs and stained glass window-inspired details add serious wow-power to gowns that were already going to have us swooning for days.
