Located in London's Piccadilly Circus, the Criterion restaurant is an ideal venue for a chic city wedding. Built in 1874, the restaurant is steeped in history with its Art Deco influence.
The grand room, where your reception would be held, is grand in every sense of the word. The bejewelled walls sparkle in the light and with a ceiling covered in 24-carat gold mosaic tiles against ornate marble it's not one for the attention-shy bride.
The room can seat up to 250 guests and you can party long into the night with the Criterion's 3am license. What's more, they have launched a special Sunday package which reduces the usual price by £10,000.
This special price is based on 120 guests and includes bubbles, a three course meal, half a bottle of wine per person plus an overnight stay for you and your new husband at Claridge's hotel in Mayfair - the perfect way to spend your first night as newlyweds.
The Criterion's sunday package is £15,000 or £125 per head based on 120 guests; normal price is £25,000 (excluding furniture removal & hire). For enquires call 0207 839 0105, or visit www.criterionrestaurant.com
