My future mother-in-law has horrendous hair! Not the messy greasy type, it's the type that looks like she's on the "Hairspray" movie... I'm worried that people won't be able to see the wedding if they are sat behind her and I just can't find the right words to ask her to change her hair style for that day. What can I do?

My future mother-in-law offered to make me a veil. I had decided not to wear one, so to make her feel included I asked her to make the flower girl dresses instead. However, she absolutely refuses to make them how I want and says the lovely embroidered tulle I paid £40/metre for is only curtain worthy. I can't get her to listen to me and now, to top it all, I have decided I do want a veil after all but I don't want her to make it! How do I resolve this without us having a huge fallout?
