Buy a three-tier iced cake and decorate it with sugar-paste polka dots. Mix sugar paste with paste colouring and roll it out on a board dusted with icing sugar to 2mm thick. Cut out dots with a circular cutter. Brush the back of the sugar dots with cooled boiled water and position evenly over the cake. Pin ribbon to decorate.
