It took me a while to choose our reception space because I was looking for somewhere intimate that already had a beautiful interior. When we visited The Salon at Spring, I knew I'd found it. I love how it resembles a greenhouse: all-white, with a high glass ceiling and lots of plants. It's exactly what I had in mind.
The restaurant's food and staff were exceptional. Their service was faultless and Skye Gyngell's menus are phenomenal. We served crab or a quince salad to start, followed by grilled lamb or sea bass, then apple galette for dessert. Our guests were blown away.
I stopped trying on gowns altogether when we found Pronovias' Delfina dress. It was perfect for me. I loved its understated bateau neckline and v-back, and the voluminous skirt just lifts the whole look. Pronovias' V-2915 cathedral-length veil went with this beautifully. I chose it for its lace - because my gown was simple, I wanted to add a little drama to my look.
Florist Emma Soulsby made my bouquet from ranunculus, eucalyptus, dusty miller and avalanche rose, which was completely stunning and went with our green and white colour palette.
