Marquee Wedding

Nicola Elliott didn't need to look any further than her parents' Yorkshire home when searching for a dream wedding venue. Its lush lakeside garden was given a glamorous makeover in the shape of what one guest described as 'the biggest wedding marquee I've ever seen'! Nicola, 28, and David, 29, a PE teacher, celebrated an organic wedding masterminded by the bride, who runs organic scented company Natural Magic. She used her candles to decorate and fragrance the church and reception, bringing a romanctic and feminine touch to the day.

'I once thought living organically meant wearing socks and eating root vegetables,' says Nicole, 'but I learned more about it and realised you can do things in a green but gorgeous way.' So guests threw dried rose-petal confetti and indulged in a locally sourced feast, organic pink champagne and an organic chocolate fountain. The newlyweds set off on an Italian honeymoon by train to spend a week relaxing on the Riviera.

  • I love the rickshaw but am having trouble finding something like it. Where did they get theirs from?
